Downloading E-Books to a Computer (Mac or PC)
These instructions are for downloading an e-book to a computer (Mac or PC) for offline reading. Many other e-books are available for online reading in your browser from any Internet connection.
The first time you download an e-book, follow the instructions for user and software requirements for reading on a computer in the Start Here guide.
- Locate the e-book you wish to download and select the Download button:
- Sign into My EBSCOhost (or create an account) when prompted.
- Select a check-out period from the Download menu, and then click Checkout & Download:
- Your e-book will automatically open in Adobe Digital Editions. If it does not, the EBSCO Download confirmation screen provides a link to your My EBSCOhost Checkouts Folder. You can re-download the e-book from your Checkouts Folder throughout the check-out period:
