The editors

Peter Catapano is an opinion editor and editor of The New York Times's series, Disability.

 

Rosemarie Garland-Thomson is a professor of English and bioethics at Emory University. She is also the first contributor to the Disability series in The New York Times.

 

Andrew Solomon (forward) is a mental health advocate and the author of numerous books and articles, including Far from the Tree : Parents, Children and the Search for Identity.
