This page offers a range of external scholarship opportunities available to students at Delaware County Community College. While this list is shared by the College, the College cannot guarantee the accuracy of the information provided by the granting institution, association, or organization.

Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship ProgramThe 2022 Lockheed Martin Vocational Scholarship Application will open January 10, 2022.
Scholarship Requirements:
Be a U.S. citizen.
Be a high school senior OR high school graduate (or GED equivalent).
Have not earned a bachelor’s degree prior to the 2022-23 academic year.
Be currently enrolled or planning to enroll part- or full-time at one of the following types of accredited institutions: vocational technical school, trade school, two-year community college or state college.
Be pursuing an associate’s degree, credit-bearing certificate or an industry-recognized credential, in one of the fields of study below, with an anticipated completion date no earlier than December 2022 and no later than June 2025.
Note: If student’s Specific Major falls under one of the listed Fields of Study, but the student’s Specific Major is not listed, student is still eligible to apply. -
Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship ProgramThe 2022 Lockheed Martin STEM Scholarship Application will open January 10, 2022.
Scholarship Requirements:
U.S. citizen
Demonstrated financial need
High school senior with a 2.5 or above GPA OR a freshman or a sophomore undergraduate student with a 2.5 or above GPA
Current or planned 4-year degree enrollment in the following majors:
Aerospace Engineering
Computer Engineering
Computer Science
Electrical Engineering
Electrical and Computer Engineering
Industrial Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Physics
Current or planned full-time attendance at an accredited U.S. four-year college or university
Interest in a paid internship with Lockheed Martin following their freshman, sophomore or junior year of college, other circumstances notwithstanding (note: the internship is not required to receive a scholarship, and scholarship recipients are not guaranteed an internship) -

Scholarship Requirements
You must be currently enrolled in, or were accepted to, an accredited college/university in the U.S. Undergraduate and graduate students are both welcome, as are incoming first-year students.
Your GPA is 3.0 or higher.
You are either a current/former cancer patient, or have stood by a loved one who was diagnosed with cancer.
You must submit a copy of your transcript, along with your application and essay (see below) using the form on this page. -
