Raj Patel a professor at University of Texas, Austin and a senior research associate at Rhodes University, South Africa. He is a global activist who has also worked for the World Bank, the World Trade Organization, and the United Nations. With Steve James he has created Generation Food, an organization dedicated to telling stories of global food insecurity.
